Port Hope Patterns Limited was founded in April of 1983 in the town of Port Hope, Ontario. Our goal has always been to supply top quality products to the foundry industry and to the other manufacturing sectors we serve.

Rapidly growing since startup, we are constantly evolving our processes to stay abreast of the latest technology. This enables us to serve our customers in the most efficient way possible. Extensive knowledge of traditional patternmaking coupled with the latest technologies makes Port Hope Patterns an incredibly versatile shop.

We are well known for our excellent polyurethane elastomer tooling and also boast a diverse line of pattern equipment to suit all foundry requirements.

Our products include wood, plastic and metal pattern equipment for air set, green sand, "Vee" process, shell, lost wax , permanent mould or any other foundry process. Jigs, fixtures and molds for the automotive industry, vacuum and rotational molds for plastic forming are also an integral part of our product line. We aim to be your first choice as a supplier of quality tooling.

In addition to our tooling products we also have a shell core department, supplying foundries across Canada with high quality economical cores.

Our plant includes a full woodworking shop, metalworking shop, a computer lab for CAD/CAM, Two CNC milling machines, a CMM table, and 3 shell core machines. All of this is operated by our highly skilled and experienced employees.

Although an aggressive leader in the industry, we are not top-heavy with administration. Of the people we employ, over 90% are directly involved with production.
